Terms and Conditions

These terms cover your use of this website and your purchase of RoutEngine licenses. The software itself is covered by the License Agreement. If the two disagree about the software, the License Agreement wins.

1. Who we are

RoutEngine is run by [FILL IN: legal business name], [FILL IN: registered business address] ("we", "us"). Our contact details are on the Contact page.

2. What we sell

RoutEngine is software for Windows that lets you choose which network connection each app uses.

The free edition is for personal, non-commercial use. A Pro license unlocks more features. Work or business use needs a Pro license for each PC it runs on.

3. Licenses

• A license key is tied to the PC or PCs named in it. A bulk license names several PCs.
• A yearly license works for one year from the day we issue it. It does not renew by itself.
• A lifetime license covers every release of the major version it names, such as 1.x. A later major version may need a new or upgraded license.
• A Pro license is verified online. RoutEngine checks about once a day, and needs one successful check at least every 7 days, as the License Agreement explains.
• To move a license to a new PC, send us the new PC's machine code. We will issue a new key.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices are in Indian rupees (INR) and are shown on the home page. [FILL IN: say whether prices include or exclude GST] We may change prices at any time. A change does not affect an order you have already paid for.

5. Payment

We tell you how to pay when you email us. We never ask for your card number or banking password. After you pay, send us a screenshot of the payment. Your order is placed when we have confirmed the payment and have your machine code. We then email your license key.

6. Delivery and refunds

We deliver licenses by email. See Shipping and Delivery. All sales are final. See the Refund and Cancellation page.

7. What we ask of you

• Give us correct details when you buy.
• Do not share, post or resell a license key.
• Follow the License Agreement.

8. Ownership

RoutEngine, its name, logo and website content belong to us. The License Agreement gives you the right to use the software. Nothing on this site transfers ownership of it.

9. No warranty, and limits on liability

The software and this website are provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

10. Ending a license

You may stop using RoutEngine at any time. We may withdraw a license if you seriously break these terms or the License Agreement, for example by sharing a key.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [FILL IN: city and state of your courts] have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer under the law.

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy applies to your purchase.
